The New EntryThingy

We've rebuilt EntryThingy from the ground up. The new version is faster, easier to use, and designed around what we've learned from a decade of helping artists and galleries connect.

What's New

The new EntryThingy is here! Version 1, built by Chris, has served us well for nearly two decades. But, we have decided to move onto a new version, and retire the previous iteration of your platform. Design is the most obvious change, but we've also rebuilt the platform so our team can ship new features faster...like marketing images for your calls. Some other exciting benefits of Version 2:

• Modern design — Clean, intuitive interface that works beautifully on any device
• More administrative tools — Admins can manage their calls and jurying functions easier
• Better submission experience — Submitting to calls is simpler and clearer

Since launching the new version in November, we've heard from hundreds of you. Your feedback has shaped every improvement we've made. You've helped with design, bugs, strategy, features, and everything else. I'd like to shoutout and give a huge thank you to Priscilla, Pam, Susan, Gulgun, Karen, Nancy, Sue, and too many other galleries and artists to count. You guys rock!!

What We've Shipped Recently

Since Version 2 was released, we have been squashing bugs, adding updates, and helping transition a lot of you to the new platform. We've seen major performance improvements across the board, redesigned core flows like the artist application process and managing entries, expanded the calls list and options for you to market your call, and dozens of bug fixes and polish

What's Coming Next

We're finishing up a few remaining features before we complete the transition:

• Payment processing — Token purchases and paid submissions
• Embedded widgets — Display artwork or submission forms on your own website
• Email notifications — Status updates for entries and individual pieces
• Mobile experience — Full functionality on phones and tablets
• Custom questions — Advanced form customization options
• Redesigns in the call creation form — So it's super simple to create and update your call
