Your studio time? Gone. Your perfect opportunity? Buried on page seven.

What We Built

We take all the pain out of finding and filtering calls, and instead surface them throughout our app and in our emails to you.

How Matching Works

We score every open call against your profile using four signals:

Your city — Calls near you get the strongest boost. We check if a call is within driving distance of your location.
Your state preferences — Calls in your preferred states rank higher. You can set multiple priority states in your profile.
Your medium — Calls that accept your art medium (painting, sculpture, photography, etc.) get a match boost.
Deadline urgency — Calls closing within 7 days get a small bump so you don't miss them.

The more signals that match, the higher the call ranks. A call that matches your city, your state, and your medium will always appear above one that only matches your medium.

Three Groups

Every call lands in one of three groups:

Your Starred Calls — Always first. These are calls you've explicitly bookmarked.

Your Matches — Calls where at least one signal fired:

Great match — Multiple signals (e.g., your state + your medium, or your city + your medium)
Good match — One strong signal (your city or your state)
Match — One signal (your medium or an urgent deadline)

Everything Else — Sorted by deadline. Still there, still browseable — just no longer burying your best opportunities.

Make It Better

Fill out your profile. Takes two minutes. Add your medium, city, and state — that's what powers the matching.

Set your priority states. Go to your alerts page and pick the states you're most interested in. You can choose multiple.

Star the calls you like. They'll always appear first.

Submit your work. We'll show you similar calls right after — matched by the medium and location of the call you just applied to.

Is this AI? Nope. It's a rule-based scoring system — no machine learning, no black box. Your profile data (medium, city, state) is compared against each call's requirements and location. That's it.

International artist? State matching is U.S.-focused for now. City proximity works worldwide — if you and the call both have coordinates, we'll match by distance. Everything else still shows in General Opportunities.
