We've been busy making EntryThingy work better for you. Here's what's new this week.
Better Call Management for Galleries
Managing your calls for artists just got easier. We fixed several bugs that were making call editing frustrating.
What's fixed:
- The "Delete this call" button no longer hides behind the save bar
- Online call location settings now save properly when you switch between online and in-person
- Private calls now work correctly - artists can still apply via direct link, but the call won't show up in public listings
- Call status changes now save reliably without reverting to previous settings
Try it now: Edit any of your existing calls and notice how much smoother the experience feels. The save button stays visible, and your changes actually stick.
New Show Night Check-In Tool
Gallery owners asked for an easier way to manage opening night events. We delivered.
What's new:
- Brand new "Show Night Check-In" download option in your call management
- Creates a compact 5×5 grid showing 25 artworks per page
- Shows artist names and piece titles under each thumbnail
- Sorted by first name for easy alphabetical check-in
Try it now: Go to any active call with entries, click Downloads, and look for the "Show Night Check-In" preset. Perfect for greeting artists and guests at your opening.
Smoother Square Integration
Artists using our Square showcase feature were hitting some bumps. We smoothed them out.
What's improved:
- Square sync now recovers properly if items get deleted from your Square dashboard
- Repeat syncs work reliably without creating duplicates
- Added Square branding so you can spot the integration at a glance
- Better error messages when artwork needs pricing before syncing
Try it now: If you've been avoiding re-syncing to Square because of past issues, give it another shot. The connection is much more reliable now.
