We've been busy making EntryThingy work better for you. This week brought some major improvements to how you submit artwork and manage your applications. Here's what's new.
Smoother File Uploads
We know how frustrating it is when you spend time uploading artwork only to find out the file is too big or the wrong size. That's over now.
What's new: Before you even open the upload window, EntryThingy now checks your file size and image dimensions. If something's wrong, you'll know right away. No more wasted time.
What you'll see: Clear error messages if your file won't work, plus all the requirements shown right in the upload window.
Try it: Next time you upload artwork, notice how much faster you know if everything looks good. No more guessing games.
Better Draft Management
Managing draft applications used to send you all over the place. We fixed that.
What changed: When you click "Continue Draft" on any application, you now go straight to the submit page. Everything you need is right there - your artwork, entry details, and payment options all in one place.
Why this matters: No more clicking around trying to find where you left off. Your draft picks up exactly where you stopped.
Give it a try: If you have any draft applications sitting around, click into them and see how much simpler it is now.
Clearer Application Status
You shouldn't have to guess what's happening with your applications after you submit them.
The fix: Your application header now shows the real status. If a gallery has reviewed your work and you're waitlisted, it says "Waitlisted." If you weren't accepted, it says "Not Accepted." No more generic "Submitted" when decisions have already been made.
What this means: You'll know exactly where you stand with every application. No confusion about whether galleries have looked at your work yet.
See for yourself: Check any applications you submitted to calls that have already been reviewed. The status should be much clearer now.
