We've been busy making EntryThingy work better for artists and galleries. Here's what changed this week.
Smoother Submissions for Artists
Upload photos without the wait. When you upload artwork through our drag-and-drop interface, you'll now see the "Want to show another angle?" button right away. No more page refreshes needed.
Try it out: Upload your next piece and add multiple views in one smooth flow.
Clearer confirmation emails. We cleaned up the email you get after submitting to a call. The subject line now says "Entry Submitted" instead of the confusing "You're in!" message. And we made the main confirmation text bold so it's easier to spot.
Check your inbox: Look for clearer, less cluttered confirmation emails on your next submission.
Booth photos don't count as art. We fixed a bug where booth setup photos were being counted as missing artwork. Now the system knows the difference between your art and your display space.
What this means: You won't get false warnings about missing pieces when you've uploaded everything correctly.
Better Tools for Galleries
Download application questions as PDF. Gallery organizers can now see exactly what artists will be asked when they apply to a call. The PDF shows all the questions, field settings, and requirements in one clean document.
How to use it: Look for the new PDF download option in your call management dashboard.
Clearer token usage tracking. We improved how the system explains where your AI credits go. Instead of cryptic codes, you'll see plain English descriptions like "opportunity discovery" or "application review."
Find it here: Check your account usage page for the updated breakdown.
What's Next
We're working on a new calendar view for artists and better draft management tools. Got ideas for what we should build next? Hit reply and tell us what would make your art submissions easier.
Keep creating, The EntryThingy Team
