We've been busy making EntryThingy work better for you. Here's what's new this week.
Better Email Experience for Artists
We've rolled out smarter emails that actually help you find opportunities. When you submit to a call, we'll now send you similar calls that match your work. No more digging through endless lists.
Your email preferences just got simpler too. Instead of confusing options, you can now choose: monthly updates, weekly opportunities, or let us decide what's worth your time. We've also added proper unsubscribe links to every email, so you're always in control.
What you should do: Check your email preferences and pick what works for your schedule. The "let us decide" option uses your profile to send only the most relevant calls.
Smoother Upload Process
Uploading your artwork just got less frustrating. We fixed the bugs that made large image files fail, especially photos from newer phones and Lightroom exports. Error messages now stick around until you dismiss them, so you won't miss important info.
The upload interface is cleaner too. We removed redundant buttons and made everything more mobile-friendly. The requirements for each call are now at the top where you can actually see them.
What you should do: Try uploading some new work to your portfolio. The process should feel much smoother, especially on your phone.
Portfolio Tools Keep Getting Better
Artist Website Manager users can now mark pieces as sold right in your portfolio. It's a small change, but it helps galleries and collectors understand what's available.
We also fixed a bug where saving artwork dimensions would fail if you didn't fill in all three measurements. Now you can save partial info and come back to complete it later.
What you should do: If you use Artist Website Manager, update your portfolio to mark sold pieces. It makes your available work clearer to potential buyers.
What's Next
We're working on more ways to connect your work with the right opportunities. Keep your profile updated and your email preferences current. The better we know your work, the better we can help you find calls that actually fit.
