We completely redesigned the artist dashboard to make it more useful. Now when you log in, you'll see personalized recommendations right at the top.
The new recommendation system is much smarter too. Before, you might have seen a metalwork call in Virginia when you're a painter in Florida. Now we match opportunities based on your actual medium and location.
What you should do: Log in and check out your new dashboard. Update your artist profile if your medium or location changed - this helps us show you better matches.
We're Finding More Opportunities
We added support for OnlineJuriedShows (OJS), which means hundreds more calls for artists. We also improved how we discover opportunities from platforms like Submittable.
The best part? These new opportunities get better data extraction. We're now pulling 30+ fields of information, so you get details like pricing, deadlines, and requirements without having to dig through confusing call descriptions.
What you should do: Keep an eye out for new opportunities in your feed. You should see more relevant calls appearing over the next few weeks.
Small Fixes That Make a Big Difference
We fixed several annoying bugs that were getting in your way:
- Entry descriptions now respect character limits even when you paste long text
- Form data won't disappear when you click around the progress bar
- Better error messages when something goes wrong
- Fixed security issues to keep your data safe
